Undeveloped shoreline inside Canaveral National Seashore, north of Titusville. A vehicle entrance fee applies. Nothing is built behind the dune and there is no commercial frontage anywhere along it. One of the best rocket launch viewpoints in the county, and it closes around major launches and in bad weather, so check before driving out.
Nudity may be encountered in a remote area. Check current rules, access and conditions before visiting.

At the mouth of Port Canaveral, with a fishing pier, a campground and a camp store opened in 2025. Day passes and annual passes are sold online. Cruise ships pass close to the sand on turnaround days, and it is one of the nearest public viewpoints to the launch pads.

The shoreline of the city of Cape Canaveral, between the port and Cocoa Beach. The main public access with full facilities is Cherie Down Park, which has free parking, restrooms, a drinking fountain, outdoor showers, pavilions, a boardwalk and dune crossovers.

At the east end of State Road 520, beside the Cocoa Beach Pier. Parking is $7 for cars and recreational vehicles, $10 on weekends and on holidays from March 1 to Labor Day. No overnight parking. The closest beach parking to the pier's shops and restaurants.

The best-known stretch of sand in the county and the one most visitors mean when they say they are going to the beach. Hotels, shops and restaurants face the ocean, and the pier sits at the east end of State Road 520. Public parking is paid, at Alan Shepard Park and Sidney Fischer Park.

In the 2100 block of State Road A1A, a few minutes south of the pier. Parking is $5 for cars and recreational vehicles. The park closes at dusk and no overnight parking is permitted.

A 32-acre county park at 1500 North Atlantic Avenue with over 200 free parking spaces. A 3,155-foot boardwalk runs through maritime hammock behind the dune, and six beach accesses, four of them ADA accessible, reach the sand. Seasonal lifeguards, restrooms on both sides of the hammock, outdoor showers, a playground, grills, and an off-leash dog park divided for large and small dogs.

A residential beachside city rather than a single access. Its shoreline is reached through named city parks, each with its own small parking lot, and parking at every one of them is paid from 7:00am to 7:00pm every day of the year, with passes arranged in advance. Brevard County residents can get a pass free.

Over 18 acres and 2,800 feet of beachfront at Satellite Beach, with a wooden boardwalk, an ADA dune crossover, restrooms, showers and covered picnic areas. Only 31 parking spaces. Parking is paid from 7:00am to 7:00pm every day of the year and needs a pass arranged in advance; Brevard County residents can get one free.

The largest of Satellite Beach's beach parks, with 131 parking spaces, an EV charging point, an event lawn, pavilions, grills, volleyball courts, ADA restrooms, showers and an ADA dune crossover. Parking is paid from 7:00am to 7:00pm every day of the year and needs a pass arranged in advance.

A 9.1-acre county park at 3299 Highway A1A, Indian Harbour Beach. Free parking. Three dune crossovers, one of them ADA accessible. Outside showers, a drinking fountain, a pavilion, a grill and benches along the crossover. Surf fishing. Dogs are welcome on the beach on a leash with current tags, at no charge, with waste bags and trash cans provided.

Officially Howard E. Futch Memorial Park at Paradise Beach - 12 acres at 2301 North Highway A1A. Over 200 free parking spaces, four volleyball courts, a playground with shade structures, and three pavilions including an 80-foot round one that seats 200. Restrooms, outside showers, seasonal lifeguards, and three dune crossovers with one ADA accessible.

Indialantic's main beachfront park is Nance Park, 5.45 acres at 201 North Miramar Avenue: a boardwalk and dune crossovers, restrooms, outside showers, pavilions, two sand volleyball courts, a playground, and 100 paved parking spaces of which 96 are metered. Sunrise Park, a few streets north, adds a covered observation deck and another 25 spaces, mostly metered.

The town at the quiet end of the barrier island, south of Indialantic. Its public access is through the county parks strung along Highway A1A - Spessard Holland north and south, and Val M. Steele - all with free parking, and all a different proposition from the paid, built-up beaches further north.

Two adjoining county parks on Highway A1A, three miles south of US 192. North is 4.53 acres with three dune crossovers, one ADA accessible, and is a well-used surf fishing spot. South is 6.5 acres with a 100-foot dune boardwalk and two pavilions, and draws the surfers. Both have free parking, seasonal lifeguards, restrooms, drinking fountains and outdoor showers.

Renamed Val M. Steele Park by the Brevard County Commissioners in March 2024, in memory of Val Steele, though most people still call it Coconut Point. Free parking, restrooms, outside showers, dune crossovers and picnic shelters, on the Melbourne Beach stretch of Highway A1A.

$8 per vehicle, open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, at the southern end of the county. Two jetties reach into the Atlantic and the breaks off them - First Peak and Monster Hole - bring surfers from outside Florida. Camping, boat ramps, kayak launches, restrooms, showers, laundry and a restaurant on site. Loggerhead turtles nest here in numbers and rangers run turtle walks. Two museums cover the 1715 Spanish treasure fleet and local fishing history.

Two and a half acres at 1600 South Atlantic Avenue, Cocoa Beach. A small free parking lot shaded by vegetation, a wood boardwalk through sea grapes, a 320-square-foot pavilion with two tables and a grill, restrooms with a paved walkway to the dune crossover, and an outdoor shower. Surf fishing, and a clear line of sight for launches.
