QUESTIONS THAT NAME THIS PLACE ABOUT THIS PLACE
Jetty Park sits at the mouth of Port Canaveral, which means the view from the sand includes cruise ships leaving port and, when one is scheduled, rocket launches from the Cape. The park combines a beach, a fishing pier and a campground with a camp store on one site. A beachside pavilion provides restrooms, changing rooms and covered picnic tables including ADA-accessible ones, and a playground has slides, climbing bars, soft turf surfacing and shade structures. Port Canaveral runs the park rather than the county, and entry is by day pass or annual pass bought online ahead of time. The camp store was rebuilt for the 2025 season. The position is the whole point: this is the north side of the port entrance, so the cruise ships pass close enough to read the names off them, and when a launch is scheduled the crowd on the sand is facing the pads across the water rather than the surf. Wildlife comes through the channel as well. Fishing goes on from the pier around the clock, and anglers work the jetty rocks themselves. The number for the park is 321-783-7831
GOOD TO KNOW
The park can reach capacity on busy days. A pre-purchased day pass for that date guarantees entry; annual-pass entry and day-pass re-entry are not guaranteed once the park is full.
