Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum

Brevard County · Atlantic Coast

A volunteer-run warbird museum on Space Coast Regional Airport at Titusville, where the aircraft can still fly and the restoration work is done in the open.

ABOUT THIS PLACE

The Valiant Air Command was founded in Titusville in 1977 and runs its warbird museum as a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit rather than a commercial attraction. The collection is arranged by era, from pre-war and First World War aircraft through the Second World War, Korea, Vietnam and the Cold War to modern military types, alongside training cockpit simulators, land vehicles and artifacts. Restoration is part of what visitors see rather than something hidden away, since preserving and returning aircraft to display is the organization's stated purpose. It stands at 6600 Tico Road in Titusville, on Space Coast Regional Airport, so the aircraft here can still fly rather than being sealed into a building. The main hangar runs to thirty thousand square feet and holds the restoration area, where the work is done in the open. A second building, the Lieutenant Commander Stockton N. Smith Center of twenty thousand square feet, opened on October 11, 2025. A Memorabilia Hall holds flight gear, dress uniforms, weapons and personal effects. The collection covers fixed wing and rotary aircraft from the First World War to the present, among them a Grumman F-14A Tomcat, an F/A-18 Hornet and Soviet MiG-17 and MiG-21 fighters. The flagship is a Douglas C-47A Skytrain called the Tico Belle, flying again by July 2009 after an accident
