Paradise Beach is officially the Howard E. Futch Memorial Park at Paradise Beach, a 12.39-acre regional county park south of Melbourne. It is laid out for groups rather than for a quiet afternoon: an 80-foot round pavilion seats up to 200, two further 20-by-40 pavilions take smaller parties, and there are four volleyball courts. Seasonal lifeguards work the beach and three dune crossovers reach it, one of them ADA accessible. The dune revegetation, the replacement crossovers and the playground came out of the county's Parks Referendum Project. The address is 2301 North Highway A1A, Melbourne, and the number is 321-255-4400. The large pavilion takes twenty-five tables and has two large grills; the north pavilion holds six to eight tables and one grill and the south pavilion six to eight tables and two grills. All three are booked through the county's online system, with extra charges for utilities. The playground has shade structures over it, and parking is free
