Pelican Beach Park

Brevard County · Atlantic Coast

The Satellite Beach park with the parking - 131 spaces, an EV charger, two sand volleyball courts and a little free library.

ABOUT THIS PLACE

Pelican Beach Park has 131 parking spaces, six of them ADA, which is four times what Hightower Beach Park up the road offers, and it is one of only two lots covered by the free annual pass available to non-residents. There is an electric vehicle charging station, two sand volleyball courts, grills and a little free library. An event venue and pavilions can be reserved. The dune crossover, the restrooms and the outdoor showers are all ADA accessible. It is one of the three Satellite Beach parks with full facilities, alongside Hightower up the road and the much smaller Shell Street Beach. Parking is enforced from seven in the morning until seven at night all year on a virtual pass tied to a number plate. Brevard County residents outside the city can apply for a free Hightower and Pelican pass through the city parking program, and non-residents can buy an annual pass covering every lot for seventy-five dollars.
