THEME PARK & ENTERTAINMENT
Universal Epic Universe
Orange County · Central Florida
Universal's fourth Orlando park, opened in May 2025, five themed worlds arranged around a garden hub.
ABOUT THIS PLACE
Epic Universe opened to the public on May 22, 2025, several miles southeast of the older Universal parks on a 750-acre site, with the park itself taking up about 110 acres. The layout is a hub and five worlds rather than a loop. Celestial Park is the hub, a garden with astronomical motifs, the Chronos tower as its landmark, a carousel and a dueling launch coaster, plus an underwater-themed restaurant. Four portals lead off it. Super Nintendo World holds Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge and a mine cart coaster. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Ministry of Magic holds Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry. Dark Universe is built on the old Universal monster films and holds Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment. How to Train Your Dragon, Isle of Berk holds Hiccup's Wing Gliders and is the gentlest of the four. Being new, it draws heavy crowds and sells timed entry at busy periods, so check what a ticket actually admits you to before buying
