Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show
Bay County · Panhandle & Emerald Coast
Two pirate crews fighting over an indoor lagoon while a four-course meal is served to the audience.
ABOUT THIS PLACE
Pirates Voyage is a dinner show built around an indoor lagoon with full-sized pirate ships in it. Two crews, the Crimson and the Sapphire, fight across the set on land, on deck, in the water and on the rigging above the ships, with high-flying acrobatics through the action and live animals worked into the performance. Dinner is served through the show: a four-course feast, the same for every guest except where a food allergy means an alternative is needed. Dolly Parton owns it. The company that runs it, World Choice Investments, is a joint venture between the Dollywood Company, Fred Hardwick and Herschend, and the same show runs at Pigeon Forge in Tennessee and at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. The Panama City Beach theater opened on June 6, 2025, and Parton came for the opening. The lagoon the ships sit in holds 750,000 gallons and is fifteen feet deep. The building carries theatrical lighting and rigging for the acrobats working above the water. In November and December the show changes over to a Christmas version. It is at Pier Park
