In Tampa, Adventure Island is the water park that goes with Busch Gardens. There are others outside the resorts, among them Island H2O in Osceola County and Rapids Water Park in Palm Beach County.
01Aquatica Orlando
Orange County. Aquatica opened on March 1, 2008, as SeaWorld Orlando's water park and is owned by the same company. It covers 59 acres. The centerpiece is a pair of wave pools, Cutback Cove and Big Surf Shores, that share an artificial white-sand beach of about 80,000 square feet, laid out with chairs, sun beds and umbrellas, so a family can take a base there for the day and send people off to the slides.

Hillsborough County. Adventure Island opened on June 7, 1980, and covers about 30 acres northeast of Tampa, directly across the road from Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. United Parks & Resorts owns both, and tickets are often sold together.

Osceola County. Island H2O opened in 2019 as part of Margaritaville Resort Orlando, on a 300-acre site off US 192 that also holds a 187-room hotel and the Sunset Walk shopping street.

Palm Beach County. Rapids Water Park opened in 1979 at 6566 North Military Trail in Riviera Beach with four slides on four acres. It now covers 30 acres and holds 42 slides and attractions, and about 400,000 people come through in a season.

Polk County. Legoland Florida opened on October 15, 2011, on the ground where Cypress Gardens had stood since the 1930s and closed in 2009. Merlin Entertainments owns and runs it. Unlike the parks up the road, this one is aimed squarely at children roughly two to twelve, and the rides are built to that scale rather than scaled down from adult ones.
