Fun Spot America Kissimmee
Osceola County · Central Florida
The Kissimmee half of the family-owned Fun Spot pair, built around go-kart tracks and one of only three wooden coasters in Florida.
ABOUT THIS PLACE
Fun Spot America runs two Florida parks, one on International Drive in Orlando and this one on the Kissimmee tourist strip, both owned by the Arie family rather than a corporation. The Kissimmee park is built around multi-level go-kart tracks of the company's own patented design, where the karts run over and under each other on stacked levels. Mine Blower is the headline ride. The Gravity Group built it for about six million dollars on ground that had been a go-kart track, and it opened on June 23, 2017. It is a wooden coaster 83 feet tall running 2,290 feet of track at 48.5 miles an hour, with an 80-foot drop, a 115-degree overbanked turn and a zero-gravity roll taken directly over the station, which no wooden coaster had done in Florida before. It is one of only three wooden coasters in the state. A SkyCoaster and a set of family rides fill out the rest of the park
