DRIVING & RACING EXPERIENCE
Andretti Indoor Karting & Games Orlando
Orange County · Central Florida
A 150,000-square-foot indoor karting and games venue on Universal Boulevard, with three electric kart tracks that combine into one long circuit.
ABOUT THIS PLACE
Andretti opened on Universal Boulevard near the Orange County Convention Center in September 2017, with a soft opening through the start of October. The building runs to about 150,000 square feet. Three kart tracks share it, one of them built for junior drivers, and when they are joined together they form the longest indoor karting circuit in the United States. The karts are electric SODI RTX models, and the tracks were designed with real elevation change and banked turns rather than a flat oval, which is unusual indoors. Karting is only part of it. The building also holds laser tag, a ropes course, bowling lanes, a large arcade, racing simulators in virtual reality and a motion theater. The Andretti Grill is a full restaurant with more than a hundred screens in it, serving smoked ribs and wood-fired pizza. The company was set up in 2001 and is based in Georgia. It is indoors and air conditioned throughout, which matters in an Orlando summer afternoon or a rainy week
