A large family campground at 1051 Southwest Old St. Augustine Road, Madison, which operated for years as Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park and now runs as Ragan Family Campground.

The name has changed but the place and the facilities have not, so anyone who remembers it as Jellystone will recognize it. Jimmie and Latrelle Ragans own and run it. The water side is the reason families come: a sixty-foot waterslide, a lazy river and a zero-entry swimming pool, which is more than most campgrounds in north Florida offer. There are three playgrounds spread across the grounds, stocked fishing ponds with bank access, an arcade, a disc golf course, trails for all-terrain vehicles running directly off the property, and golf carts for rent to get around. A store on site sells the basics along with coffee and ice cream. Accommodation covers recreational vehicle sites with full hookups, tent ground and cabins to rent. It is an established property rather than a new one and some recent visitors have described it as worn, so look at current photographs before booking. The number is 850-973-8269
