Where are the marijuana dispensaries in Florida?

Only a state-licensed medical marijuana treatment center may sell marijuana in Florida, and only to a patient or caregiver with an active state card; there is no sale to anyone without one.

The Florida Department of Health counted 778 dispensing locations open in the week of August 21 to 27, 2026, and 940,116 patients with active cards. Its Office of Medical Marijuana Use keeps the official list of every dispensing location, searchable by company, city and county. Where they may open is partly a local choice. A county or city may ban dispensaries inside its boundaries by ordinance, and none may be within 500 feet of a school unless the county or city approves the location. If it allows them, it may not treat them more strictly than pharmacies in where they can go or what permits they need, and it may not charge them a higher license fee than it charges a pharmacy.

How do I get a medical marijuana card in Florida?

You need a Florida doctor's certification first, then the state's card. A qualified physician examines you, in person the first time, and if you have a qualifying condition enters a certification in the state's Medical Marijuana Use Registry; later visits may be by telehealth.

What time can you buy alcohol in Florida?

It depends on the county or city. State law sets the default: no alcohol may be sold or served between midnight and 7 a.m., unless a county or city ordinance says otherwise, and many do.
