Where can I buy liquor in Florida, and do grocery stores sell it?

Beer and wine are sold in grocery stores, drugstores and gas stations that hold a beer and wine license.

Liquor is different. Florida law requires a store that sells liquor by the bottle to have no opening giving direct access to any other business, so a supermarket or big-box store that sells liquor does it in a separate liquor store with its own outside door, usually beside the main entrance. You have to be 21 to buy or have alcohol. Two counties, Lafayette and Liberty, are still dry: the state licenses only beer and wine of no more than 6.243 percent alcohol by volume there, so no liquor is sold in either county. The hours a store may sell are set by each county and city, not by the state alone.
