What time can you buy alcohol in Florida?

It depends on the county or city. State law sets the default: no alcohol may be sold or served between midnight and 7 a.m., unless a county or city ordinance says otherwise, and many do.

Orange County's code allows package sales from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. and bars to serve from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., every day of the week, in the unincorporated county and in any city there without its own rule. Pinellas County closes every business that deals in alcohol from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. every day, unless a city inside it sets shorter hours. In both, Sunday is treated like any other day. So the hours can change when you cross a city or county line, and the county's or city's code of ordinances is where they are written. Two counties, Lafayette and Liberty, are dry for liquor: only beer and wine of no more than 6.243 percent alcohol are licensed there.
