Anclote River Park

Pasco County · Gulf Coast

A 31-acre county park at the mouth of the Anclote River in Holiday, with a swimming beach, a boat ramp and views out to Anclote Key.

ABOUT THIS PLACE

The park sits at 1119 Baillies Bluff Road in Holiday, where the Anclote River meets the Gulf, and it is the main public water access on this part of the Pasco coast. The boat ramp is the reason most people come; it operates around the clock for launching and retrieving, and it puts boats within easy reach of Anclote Key and the offshore flats. A swimming area with Gulf access sits beside it, along with a dock and fishing spots. For anyone not bringing a boat there is a canoe and kayak launch, a playground, a volleyball court, horseshoe pits, picnic shelters and restrooms. A historical marker stands on the grounds. The view west takes in Anclote Key and the power plant stacks, which is an honest picture of this coast rather than a postcard one. The park covers 31 acres and opens seven days a week from sunrise to sunset. It has been through a redesign, so the layout may differ from older maps
