Old Town Kissimmee

Osceola County · Central Florida

An open-air shopping and ride district on the Kissimmee tourist strip, open since 1986 and known for its weekly classic car cruise.

ABOUT THIS PLACE

Old Town opened in December 1986 on West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, built as a walking street of brick and clapboard meant to look like an older Florida town. About seventy shops, restaurants, bars and attractions line it. There is no admission to walk in; rides and attractions are paid for one at a time. The rides include an 86-foot Italian Ferris wheel put in during the 2019 renovation, a five-story coaster called Hurricane, a carousel and a Paratrooper, along with a game center holding more than fifty arcade machines. Mortem Manor is a walk-through haunted attraction with live actors. The Great Magic Hall runs magic shows. What the place is really known for is cars. The Saturday classic car show and cruise is billed as the longest-running weekly car show and cruise in America, and the street fills with owners and their machines every week. Old Town closed for two years of renovation and reopened in April 2019
