ABOUT THIS PLACE
HarborWalk Village sits on Destin Harbor at the foot of the Marler Bridge, beside the Emerald Grande resort. It holds restaurants, shops, dolphin cruises and the docks of the Destin charter fishing fleet, with live music and weekly fireworks displays over the harbor. The Destin Harbor Boardwalk begins there. It covers fifteen acres along Destin Harbor at 10 Harbor Boulevard, and dogs are allowed through it. More than a dozen restaurants and cafes and a dozen or so shops and boutiques run along the waterfront. The marina is the working part: charter fishing, boat rentals, water sports, transient slips, bait and supplies, along with the cruises that go out after dolphins or run as pirate ships for children. Snorkeling and shelling trips leave from the same docks. On land there is ziplining, miniature golf, helicopter tours and comedy shows, so the village works in the evening as well as through the day. The Emerald Grande resort stands a few steps away at the foot of the bridge
