ABOUT THIS PLACE

The animals are the draw and the list is long: alpaca, chickens of every sort, donkeys, ducks, emus, geese, goats, highland cows, horses, peacocks, pigs, quail, rabbits, a tortoise, turkeys and zebu. Around them are wagon rides, barrel train rides, a rubber duck race, a corn pit and the corn maze the farm is known for locally. It does not open all year. Fall Farm Days run from the third of October to the fifteenth of November, Saturdays from ten in the morning until six and Sundays from two until six, and Spring Farm Days run from the eighteenth of April to the ninth of May on the same hours. Sunflower Days are photo sessions by appointment. Entry is fifteen dollars a person with children of three and under free, and both cash and cards are taken. School field trips run through the fall, and the farm does birthday parties, fundraisers and a traveling petting zoo. The number is 850-251-7708
