South Beach Park Boca Raton

Palm Beach County · South Florida & the Keys

A Boca Raton city beach where the pavilion parking is metered only - and a city beach permit will not cover you there.

ABOUT THIS PLACE

South Beach Park opens at eight in the morning and closes at sundown, seven days a week. The thing to know before parking is that the pavilion spaces are metered only, and a City of Boca Raton beach parking permit is not valid at metered spaces anywhere in the city, beaches included, so a permit holder can still be ticketed here. There is a playground and picnic areas, along with walking paths, benches, drinking fountains, restrooms and showers. The address is 400 North Ocean Boulevard. There are 228 parking spaces, six of them accessible, and those need either an annual city beach permit or a daily fee; free electric vehicle charging is included for anyone who has paid. From October 1, 2026, the machines no longer take cash, only cards and phone payment. The pavilion is a historic sunrise viewing shelter reached by a ramp and cannot be rented. No pets, smoking, alcohol, polystyrene, drones, balloons, camping or fires. Park rangers answer on 561-393-7815
