Where is baseball spring training in Florida?

Fifteen Major League teams train in Florida, in the Grapefruit League. Around Tampa Bay: the Yankees in Tampa, the Phillies in Clearwater, the Blue Jays in Dunedin, the Pirates in Bradenton, the Orioles in Sarasota and the Tigers in Lakeland.

Further down the Gulf coast: the Braves in North Port, the Rays at Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte, and the Red Sox and the Twins, both in Fort Myers. On the Atlantic side: the Astros and the Nationals share the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, the Marlins and the Cardinals share Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, and the Mets are in Port St. Lucie. Pitchers and catchers report in mid-February, and the games run from late February through March.

Charlotte Sports Park

Charlotte County. The stadium seats around 7,500 and stands on eighty-two acres. A pedestrian concourse runs the full circle of the park, so a spectator can walk the whole way around without losing sight of the field, which older parks do not allow.
