Half of Florida's 67 counties were at about $345,000 or less. The large metro counties sit above that middle: Miami-Dade, Palm Beach and Broward in the south, Orange around Orlando, and Hillsborough and Pinellas around Tampa. Duval, around Jacksonville, and Polk, around Lakeland, are below it. Those are figures for all home types together; a single-family house usually runs higher than the county figure and a condo lower, often by a wide margin in South Florida. Each county guide on this site carries the county's own figure with its date, and the Ask box will set it against your income if you tell it what you earn and which county you mean.
