WATER & COAST
Seaside Beach
Walton County · Panhandle & Emerald Coast
The beach in front of Seaside is private. Each street has its own pavilion down to the sand, and a guest renting a home in Seaside uses the pavilion on that street. In the Town Center, at the Georges Gorge and Coleman pavilions, the public is welcome but needs a chair rental from Cabana Man to sit on the beach, and personal chairs, umbrellas, tents and large coolers are not allowed there. On private beaches in Walton County anyone may walk, jog and go into the water within 20 feet of the wet sand line, and sunbathe there from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Van Ness Butler regional access between Seaside and WaterColor is no longer open to the public.
