WATER & COAST

Grayton Beach

Walton County · Panhandle & Emerald Coast

Walton County opened a new regional beach access here in June 2026, the Bets "Beachmama" Haynes Regional Beach Access at 44 Hotz Avenue in downtown Grayton Beach, just west of the Red Bar: restrooms, rinse showers, an observation deck, a boardwalk to the sand and a stop for the county's Beach Park and Ride tram. Grayton Dunes, at 288 Garfield Street, is the small access, with four parking spaces and restrooms; special events and bonfires are allowed there. The Van Ness Butler access on County Highway 30A has been closed to the public since March 2024.
