Honeymoon Island State Park Beach

Pinellas County · Gulf Coast

More than four miles of beach on a barrier island off Dunedin, and the ferry to Caladesi Island leaves from here. Behind the sand the Osprey Trail runs three miles through one of the last virgin slash pine forests left in Florida. Shelling, swimming, fishing and cycling. Erosion cut the northernmost mile off from the rest of the island in April 2024. Restrooms, showers, picnic pavilions, playgrounds and a concession restaurant. Open 8 a.m. to sunset, 365 days a year, $8 a vehicle.
