Lake Mills Park
Seminole County runs this park on the southwest shore of Lake Mills, where a campground sits beneath live oaks more than 150 years old. A boardwalk finished in spring 2024 crosses the floodplain forest past ferns and cypress knees, and the gentle trails add up to a loop of about eight tenths of a mile. There are large picnic pavilions and a modern playground. The park opens at 8 in the morning and closes at dusk.
