At 200 36th Street Ocean in Marathon, open 7 a.m. until dusk every day, and rebuilt in 2001 so that all of it is accessible. Picnic pavilions that can be reserved, playgrounds, volleyball courts, restrooms and showers. Loggerhead turtles nest here from April to October and the city marks the nests, which take up less than a tenth of the beach. No parking for recreational vehicles or buses.
