Surfside Beach

Miami-Dade County · South Florida & the Keys

The town's beach sits behind Collins Avenue, with step-free entrances at 88th and 96th Streets and another through the Community Center at 9301 Collins Avenue, where a beach wheelchair is kept for residents and hotel guests. A hard path with eight outdoor workout stations runs from 89th to 95th Street. The flags matter here: purple means dangerous marine life, and a red flag with a symbol on it means the water is closed. Conditions are on 305.866.3635.
