The county's first park, on Biscayne Bay in south Miami-Dade, where the swimming is in a man-made atoll pool flushed by the tide rather than on open sand. Lifeguards on weekends and on holidays. In summer it is open 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and to 6:30 p.m. on weekends, and an hour earlier each way in winter. Parking is $7 on weekdays and $10 on weekends. No flotation devices, no tents, no grills on the beach, and no pets in the park.
