Historic Virginia Key Beach

At 4020 Virginia Beach Drive on Virginia Key, run by its own trust. It opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. from November to March and at 6 p.m. from April to October, and it shuts on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Entry is $5 a vehicle Monday to Thursday, $10 Friday to Sunday and $12 on holidays. Read the rules before going: the park does not permit swimming or fishing in its waters, there are no pets except service animals, and no alcohol or glass.
