One of only two public beaches on Marco Island. The parking lot is on Swallow Avenue and the beach is a short walk across South Collier Boulevard from it. White sand. The county names shelling, sunning and swimming in the surf as what people come for. Restrooms are at the Swallow Avenue lot and there are foot-washing stations at the access itself. Open 8 a.m. to sunset. $10 to park without a Collier County resident beach parking permit. No dogs.
