Where do cruise ships leave from in Miami?

From PortMiami, on Dodge Island off downtown Miami in Miami-Dade County. The port lists 26 cruise lines that sail from it or call there, and MSC, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Carnival and Virgin Voyages have terminals of their own; Terminal C takes ships from several lines and Terminal J the small and luxury ships.

It counted 8,564,225 cruise passengers in the fiscal year that ended in September 2025, the most in its history, and passed 10 million on September 14, 2026, two weeks before the next fiscal year closed. Cars reach the island over the port bridge or through a toll-free tunnel from the highways, and there is parking at every terminal. Rideshare has its own pick-up and drop-off zones, most cruise lines run a shuttle from Miami International Airport, and Brightline runs a service for cruise passengers to the port.
