Orlando is about 260 miles from the Miami area on Florida's Turnpike, and Brightline trains make the trip in about 3 hours 30 minutes.
The Turnpike's mileposts start at the Golden Glades toll plaza in Miami-Dade County. The Lantana toll plaza, in Palm Beach County, is at milepost 88. In the Orlando area, the Turnpike reaches Kissimmee and St. Cloud at milepost 244, Orlando South at milepost 254, the I-4 interchange at milepost 259 and State Road 50 at milepost 272. These come from the Turnpike's traffic engineer's report for fiscal year 2025.
Brightline runs passenger trains between Orlando and Miami. Its other stations are in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale and Aventura. The company says the ride takes about 3 hours 30 minutes between Orlando and Miami and about two hours between Orlando and West Palm Beach. Its Orlando station is at 10705 Jeff Fuqua Blvd, a 13-minute walk from Terminal C at Orlando International Airport. Brightline has no garage of its own at the airport; riders park in the airport's Parking Garage C and take the skyway bridge from Level 5, a 5-minute walk to the station. The Miami station, MiamiCentral, is at 600 NW 1st Avenue.
