Are there drive-in movie theaters in Florida?

A few, and each one's website shows what is playing, so look there before you go.

Silver Moon Drive-In in Lakeland, Polk County, opened on April 14, 1948, as Lakeland's first drive-in, and its two screens usually show first-run movies; 863-682-0849. Ocala Drive-In, on South Pine Avenue in Ocala, Marion County, (352) 629-1325. Joy-Lan Drive-In in Dade City, opened on March 9, 1950, is Pasco County's only remaining drive-in; 352-567-5085.

Some older theaters still show films. Tampa Theatre, a John Eberson movie palace that opened on October 15, 1926, has a full schedule of first-run and classic films; (813) 274-8286. Enzian in Maitland, Orange County, a single-screen cinema cafe since 1985, shows mostly independent and foreign films; 407-629-1088. The Marion Theatre in Ocala, opened in 1941 and now run by the Reilly Arts Center, shows films too; (352) 351-1606.
