Seven places to eat and drink are on the property, and there is sixty thousand square feet of event space. Two dogs a room are taken.

A hotel at 1255 North Palm Avenue in downtown Sarasota, about a mile from the beach and near St Armands Circle and Ringling College of Art and Design. Art runs through it: there is an artist's studio where local artists work, a gallery lounge, and sketchbooks, colored pencils and a ukulele in the rooms. There is a rooftop pool with a bar, a fitness center, the Tzeva restaurant, and event space. One pet a room is taken.

A hotel at 100 Marina View Drive in Sarasota, looking over the bay and downtown, minutes from St Armands Circle, Mote Marine, Siesta Key and Lido Key. There is a rooftop pool with the Roof Bar and Eats beside it, looking over the bay, the marina and the Gulf, the Spa and Salon at the Westin, a fitness studio and the EVOQ restaurant. Up to two pets a room are taken.

A resort at 700 Benjamin Franklin Drive on Lido Key in Sarasota, with three hundred feet of private beach and St Armands Circle just down the road. There are guest rooms and condominium style suites, many with a full kitchen. Two heated pools are open all year, one of them for adults only. There is the Drift Kitchen and Bar and a beachfront tiki bar, and about six thousand square feet of event space. Dogs are welcome.

A family run beach cottage of six suites at 515 Beach Road on Siesta Key, in a building from 1936. Four are one bedroom suites, one has two bedrooms and a full kitchen, and one is a three bedroom cottage. There is a heated pool. Siesta Key beach access nine is about five minutes on foot and Crescent Beach under fifteen. Three of the suites take pets.

A beachfront resort at 117 Casey Key Road in Nokomis, with its own beach on the Gulf on one side and the Intracoastal on the other. Rooms have kitchens or kitchenettes with pots and pans, a toaster, a coffee maker, a microwave, flatware and dishes. There is a large pool by the bay, a private dock with boat slips to rent and underwater fish lights, charcoal grills, a coin laundry, wireless internet and a tiki hut seating ten.

There are studios and efficiencies, standard one bedroom villas, a deluxe one bedroom by the pool, a deluxe two bedroom looking over the park, and a three bedroom of eighteen hundred square feet that sleeps eight.

Siesta Key Island Rentals

This is a rental agency, not a hotel. It manages a collection of homes and condominiums on Siesta Key, from one to four bedrooms, many with pools and some that take pets. There is no front desk and no building to check into. The properties sit within a short drive, and in some cases a walk, of Siesta Key Village and the beach.
