There is a private sunning beach on the bay, a freshwater pool and jacuzzi at the water, five open air tikis with charcoal grills, kayaks and paddleboards, a tennis court, a pickleball court, shuffleboard, table tennis and cornhole. A gallery on the property shows work by local artists.

An inn at the corner of Frances and Southard Streets in the center of Old Town Key West, at 535 Frances Street. The house was built in the 1860s in the Conch style, part European and part Caribbean, and has been a home, a boarding house and a place of worship before becoming a bed and breakfast in the 1980s. It was remodeled in 2021 and is recognized by the Historic Florida Keys Foundation for its preservation.

A bed and breakfast at 625 Truman Avenue, in the heart of Old Town Key West and a block and a half from Duval Street. The house is one of the island's earliest pioneer family estates, on the National Register of Historic Places, and the same family has run it through seven generations. It is Victorian with Bahamian touches: high ceilings, wood shutters, wrap around porches and gingerbread trim. There is a pool, gardens, breakfast and off street parking.

There is a temperature controlled pool and spa, cabana showers open around the clock, a laundry and a private marina where guests can dock a boat, with the bay, the Gulf and the Atlantic all reachable from it.

Southernmost Point Guest House

A historic guest house at 1327 Duval Street, at the quiet end of the street and steps from the Southernmost Point buoy. The same family has run it since 1987. Breakfast is included, and each guest gets a drink voucher a day for the Southernmost Point Bar, which can also be rented for private events. There is a small spa pool with a lounge area, pool and beach towels, and free parking, one vehicle to a room.

Split the stay between two county areas. Give each finalist two ordinary days, then reserve the final day to revisit the strongest community.
