The Gulf shore of Captiva Island, north of Sanibel across Blind Pass. The public ways onto it are Alison Hagerup Beach Park at the north end and Turner Beach at the south, by the pass. The Captiva Erosion Prevention District manages the sand. No dogs on any Captiva beach, and no live shelling. Stay off the dune plants and away from nesting shorebirds and sea turtles. Alcohol, open fires and loud music are not allowed.
