WATER & COAST
North Redington Beach
Pinellas County · Gulf Coast
A mile of beach with five pedestrian crosswalks over Gulf Boulevard. The town's rules are short: no animals on the beach, no alcohol, no glass, and no fires or fireworks at any time. Nothing may be left on the sand between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m., which covers tents, shelters, canopies, coolers, umbrellas and towels. Bicycles without motors are allowed. Nothing may be sold on the beach except by the licensed concessionaires. From May through November, when the turtles are nesting, the town asks you to close the blinds and turn off balcony lights from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Weddings need the approval of both the upland property owner and Town Hall.
Not identified in this guide as an officially clothing-optional beach. This is a visit category, not a safety rating—check surf, lifeguards, water quality and posted rules.
