Palm Beach County · South Florida & the Keys
At 109 acres the largest county beach park in Palm Beach, with 3,000 feet of guarded sand, an amphitheater and 26 family picnic shelters.
ABOUT THIS PLACE
Carlin Park is 109 acres, which makes it far the largest of the county's beach parks, and it guards 3,000 feet of beach. The scale shows in the facilities: an amphitheater, three named group pavilions and twenty-six family picnic shelters, which is why it takes gatherings that would swamp the smaller parks. A beach surf wheelchair is kept here and is arranged by asking a lifeguard. The address is 400 South State Road A1A and the county's own listing puts the park at 120.31 acres. The parks number is 561-966-6600 and pavilions are booked on 561-966-6611. The Seabreeze Amphitheater stands at 750 South A1A and runs Carlin Park After Dark, a free open-air concert series starting at seven in the evening where people bring their own chairs and blankets and buy food on site. There are tennis courts, volleyball, bocce, exercise trails, a cafe, outdoor showers, bicycle paths and fishing
