WATER & COAST
Naples Municipal Beach
Collier County · South Florida & the Keys
The City of Naples shoreline itself, close to nine miles of it, reached through forty public beach accesses along Gulf Shore Boulevard and Gordon Drive. Most are street ends with a walkway and a metered space or two rather than parks; twenty-four of the forty are held for permit holders only. The city lists freshwater showers at twenty of its ends but full restrooms at only two, Lowdermilk Park and the Pier, and the Pier's are shut for its rebuild. No parking at any beach end between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Several ends are closed at a time: in October 2026 it was four on the north side, for the stormwater outfall project, and 12th Avenue South, for the pier.
