How do I find a church after moving to Florida?

Start with your denomination's Florida office: the Florida Baptist Convention has a church search by ZIP code, and Florida has seven Catholic dioceses.

Florida Baptist churches are part of the Southern Baptist Convention. The Florida Baptist Convention's website, flbaptist.org, has a Find a Church page where you type a city or ZIP code. Its office is the Baptist Building at 6850 Belfort Oaks Place in Jacksonville, and its phone number is 904-396-2351.

The Catholic Church in Florida is organized into seven dioceses: the Archdiocese of Miami and the Dioceses of St. Augustine, Pensacola-Tallahassee, Orlando, St. Petersburg, Venice and Palm Beach. The archbishop and bishops of those seven dioceses make up the board of the Florida Catholic Conference, which is at 201 West Park Avenue in Tallahassee. Its website, flacathconf.org, has a Dioceses of Florida page, and its phone number is 850-222-3803.

If you belong to another church, call its national or regional office and ask for its congregations in the Florida county you are moving to.
